We chose Airlie Beach as our wedding destination because we decided on a beach wedding and Airlie Beach has some of the most amazing beaches. Dane and I have previously been to the Whitsundays a few times before, however our guests had never visited the area so it was also a holiday for them all. We stayed in the Whitsundays for two weeks for our wedding week celebrations and took our guests on the 3 island day cruise, visited Cedar Creek Waterfalls and also to Daydream Island for a day trip. Everyone loved the lagoon, it was a big hit with the kids. Our wedding theme was beachy, we had an amazing bamboo arbour with white drapes, a sand ceremony, flowerballs hanging off the chairs and shells all over the signing table.

Samantha and Blake – Lure, Abell Point Marina

Instagram is actually where I got most of my inspiration from with some help from Pinterest. Our theme was white, green and aspects of black, a very clean and modern seaside wedding look and feel. The Events Company Whitsundays were amazing and together we created the day exactly how we imagined.

Toni and Matt – Earlando

Everything about Earlando stood out for us! The moment we got over the hill and saw the place we both looked at each other and said “this is it!” From green, green grass to crystal blue ocean, the place is beautiful!

Whitsunday Wedding at Marine Club

Monica and Lyle – St Martin’s Church and Marine Club

A weekend away to the Misty Mountains on the Atherton Tablelands proved to be a memorable occasion for both Lyle and Monica. After trying to ‘relax’ during his massage Lyle invited Monica out on to the scenic balcony and produced a stunning Irish Claddagh diamond ring from his robe.
