Why the Whitsundays….

We choose the Whitsundays to get married, as we always knew we wanted a beach wedding, and we also knew that the weather would be perfect at any time of the year.

Wedding Week…

We stayed in the Whitsundays for 7 days, the activities we enjoyed while there was Skydiving, Jetskiing and 4WDing

Wedding Day Vision…

Wedding theme was shabby chic vintage and lace. Colour choices were mint, champagne and ivory

Bride’s Wisdom…

Take time to enjoy the day, it goes so quickly – Also to make sure that your photographer captures all the photos you are after.

If there was one thing I wish I could do different it would be to get some more photos of those special moments, that can only be captured once in a lifetime.

Destination Wedding…

The best thing about a destination wedding was knowing that all the hard work was done for me, I trusted my wedding planner and knew that everything would be perfect. I could take the time to relax and enjoy the moment and the days leading up to the wedding.

A big thankyou to all that help make our special day one to remember. Without the help of our amazing suppliers, planning a destination wedding from the other side of the country would have almost been impossible.

Whitsunday Wedding Pavilion

Hannah and Simon – Whitsunday Pavilion

Holding their wedding ceremony and reception at the Whitsunday Pavilion meant that this couple had the time (and budget) to treat their guests to a sunset cruise around Pioneer Bay. Departing Port Of Airlie Marina after the ceremony allowed the wedding party to enjoy a different perspective of Airlie Beach as the sun set over the horizon.

Whitsunday Wedding at Coral Sea Resort

Alana and Vladslav – Coral Sea Resort

Vlad and I decided to have a very small wedding with only 6 guests! Having an intimate wedding on the Coral Sea provided the perfect experience for my husband and I who wanted a simple, beautiful, classic beach wedding. Keeping the décor white and crystal provided a beautiful contrast to the turquoise water as the backdrop.

Maddison and Chris – Headland Park

Having had originally planned for a moderately big wedding in Townsville, Maddison and Chris realised that they had embarked on a wedding journey that neither of them really wanted.
