This gorgeous little family of three decided that Airlie Beach was the perfect destination to celebrate their wedding. Opting for an elopement to Whitehaven Beach via Seaplane meant that they were able to save thousands on their day, yet still have a truly magical wedding experience in the Whitsundays.

Extending their trip to Airile Beach out to two weeks in total allowed them to have an amazing family holiday in luxury accommodation in the Whitsundays.

By choosing to elope for our wedding day we saved a lot of money. We put more money towards our accommodation for the two weeks we were there as we wanted it to be beautiful and relaxing for the three of us, but also so the photos of us getting ready had a nice back drop as well. We also upgraded our photography package so we could get photos from start to finish and make a story for all our friends and family to see when we arrived home.

Amy and Andrew – Whitehaven Beach

The hardest part was deciding where exactly to get married, as there are so many beautiful beaches in Australia. Once we had decided on the Whitsunday Islands, it was a matter of booking the flights, the seaplane, a celebrant, our photographer and arranging the accommodation and dinner for four people, basically the makings of a great holiday, it was that simple!

Lynda and Jamie – Coral Sea Resort

Everyone was extremely relaxed and the “wedding stress” didn’t exist. It also gave us a chance to show our favourite piece of paradise with our nearest and dearest who were mostly from Brisbane.

Rhiannon and Reuban – Villa Botanica

Two years prior to our wedding we attended a wedding in Bali that was perfect in every way. We then decided that we wanted our wedding in Bali too. However having to travel and coordinate a wedding in Bali takes a lot of time and patience so we decided to have our wedding at Villa Botanica, the closest thing to having a Bali wedding in Australia!
