Our wedding was beyond realisation and fulfilment. Luke and I had always dreamed of a destination wedding. A celebration that was simple, personal and unique for our families to enjoy (without the huge price tag).

The Whitsundays had held a sentimental place for both our parents, however Luke and I had never visited this gorgeous part of the world and had real organisational anxieties about coordinating our special day from Sydney.

We encountered the most honest and professional businesses that all went above and beyond helping us arrange all our destination wedding needs. Having a small number of guests (11), Jo from Toscana Village Resort effectively became our wedding planner and is extremely knowledgeable when faced with meeting the entire accommodation and reception venue desires for us. We could not have imagined a more beautiful view of Airlie Beach, nor a more beautifully themed, decorated and flexible place to have our special day.

We would like to thank all the individuals who helped design the most significant and spectacular day of our lives. Donna Fornasiero our celebrant helped us to create such an intimate exceptional service, complete with sand ceremony and provided guidance throughout our planning. Sam from Lush Hair and Makeup and her team are extremely talented and proficient in ensuring our female bridal party of eight looked amazing, Trevor from Fish D’vine created the perfect seafood banquet, whilst Brooke Miles captured every beautiful memory from the back drop of the Balinese pavilion, the sands of Airlie beach through to the reception at Toscana Village Resort immaculately.  Our special day was more than we could have dreamed and we are truly grateful for all the people who were a part of making our day one to treasure forever.

Amy and Adams beachside boho wedding

Amy and Adam – Hamilton Island

Featuring hints of mint and pops of pink the colour scheme created a youthful and playful feel to the day and was the perfect accompaniment to the tropical islands backdrop of lush green gardens and azure sea.

Amanda and Henning – Whitehaven Beach

A light breeze on a warm sunny day with no clouds was the perfect backdrop for our Whitehaven Beach Wedding. We chartered a private seaplane to reach our wedding destination. First spotting the location we were stunned by the crystal clear turquoise water and pristine white sands.

Lauren and Daniel – Coral Sea Resort

We both wanted a small simple wedding we just didn’t know where. We spent months looking for venues in the area around our home town but we weren’t totally in love with anything we looked at. One day I started looking up destination weddings when I came across Coral Sea Resort and instantly knew that was the place it had to be.
