Jess and David – Peppers Airlie Beach

I have never been the type of girl to picture myself having a huge Church wedding. We had been engaged for quite a while with no plans in sight, so one day I Googled “destination wedding Australia” and Airlie Beach popped up. I’m so glad that it did! My husband and I got our immediate family together and got married at Peppers Airlie Beach. Everything about the day and night was perfect! The weather in late October was just spectacular, hot days with a cool breeze at night. The location was ideal, amazing views for the ceremony and secluded area for the reception. The people we dealt were amazing as well, so laid back, but exceptionally professional at the same time. An extra mention to Sam from Lush for my hair and makeup, and Brooke from Brooke Miles Photography. Both ladies were extremely lovely, professional and extremely good at what they do, they helped make my day what it was. There is nothing about our day that I would have changed! If anyone has ever wanted a small destination wedding, I would, one thousand percent, recommend Airlie Beach!

Michelle and Aaron – Sundowner Cruises and Peppers Airlie Beach

One of my closest friends, who knew no one else at the wedding before arriving on Thursday, said to me at the reception that she felt like she was at Christmas dinner with all her family. Which was exactly our aim for having a destination wedding.

Maddison and Chris – Headland Park

Having had originally planned for a moderately big wedding in Townsville, Maddison and Chris realised that they had embarked on a wedding journey that neither of them really wanted.

Rachel and Mark – Luxury Yacht Wedding

The only thing that guests were aware of was that we were getting married…we sent invitations that read “join us at Airlie Beach at 2pm”…the rest was a surprise. Both of us love boats and being out on the water, and we knew that was at the heart of what we wanted from our day. Also to give our friends and family a once in a lifetime experience of being on board a luxury yacht in one of the most pristine places on Earth!
