Elopements in the Whitsundays

Amy and Andrew – Whitehaven Beach

The hardest part was deciding where exactly to get married, as there are so many beautiful beaches in Australia. Once we had decided on the Whitsunday Islands, it was a matter of booking the flights, the seaplane, a celebrant, our photographer and arranging the accommodation and dinner for four people, basically the makings of a great holiday, it was that simple!

Sabrina and Brendan – Whitehaven Beach

High school sweethearts Sabrina and Brendan opted for a long weekend in Airlie Beach to celebrate their nuptials. An elopement on world famous Whitehaven Beach, followed by an island cruise around the Whitsundays the day after the wedding, before returning home to celebrate with friends and family.

When your only guest is your 9 month old super cute daughter and a couple of seagulls, you know you have achieved your dream in creating a completely private wedding experience.

Kerri and Ray – Whitehaven Beach and Peppers Airlie Beach

We wanted a beach wedding and after doing some research on the internet we came across The Wedding Planners Whitsundays website and found the Elope Perfectly package. We had never been to the Whitsundays before so knew it was for us.

Airlie Beach Elopement

Bethanie and Joshua – Anzac Point and Peppers Airlie Beach

What this couple saved by eloping, they truly made up for by splurging on experiences and capturing memories. Day tours with Ocean Rafting and Cruise Whitsundays, paddle boarding, massages, scuba dives and even a night out seeing British India at Magnum’s!

Maddison and Chris – Headland Park

Having had originally planned for a moderately big wedding in Townsville, Maddison and Chris realised that they had embarked on a wedding journey that neither of them really wanted.

Ashlee and Matthew – Whitehaven Beach and Peppers Airlie Beach

Champagne, helicopters and sandy toes… these are the things that wedding dreams are made of for couples like Ashlee and Matthew who want to keep things simple, but appreciate a little luxury.

Yelly and Ben – Whitehaven Beach

If you are thinking about eloping. Stop. Don’t think about it, just do it. Eloping was the best thing we ever did. It gave us the opportunity to experience a hassle free day, in a location that was perfect for us. All we had to focus on was marrying each other (while Total Weddings took care of the rest)…

Kay and Steve – Whitsunday Elopement

Kay was the perfect epitome of a beach side wedding babe. A knee length tulle skirt and matching light lace cropped top combined with jewel footwear ensured that she was not only comfortable in the tropical climate but created the perfect silhouette for her photos on Whitehaven Beach.

Naomi and Shane – Whitehaven Beach Elopement

This gorgeous little family of three decided that Airlie Beach was the perfect destination to celebrate their wedding. Opting for an elopement to Whitehaven Beach via Seaplane meant that they were able to save thousands on their day, yet still have a truly magical wedding experience in the Whitsundays.

Amanda and Henning – Whitehaven Beach

A light breeze on a warm sunny day with no clouds was the perfect backdrop for our Whitehaven Beach Wedding. We chartered a private seaplane to reach our wedding destination. First spotting the location we were stunned by the crystal clear turquoise water and pristine white sands.

Sam and Jen – Chance Bay Whitsunday Island

Sam proposed to Jen whilst on a Whitsunday holiday so it seemed only fitting that the pair return to the tropical paradise for their elopement. The couple opted for a true elopement with absolutely no guests present leaving them all the time in the world to indulge in each others companies whilst in the Whitsundays.
