A light breeze on a warm sunny day with no clouds was the perfect backdrop for our elopement on the beach. We chartered a private seaplane to reach our wedding destination of Whitehaven Beach. First spotting the location we were stunned by the crystal clear turquoise water and pristine white sands. The day could not have been more perfect. We even had butterflies dancing around during our vows.

We found The Wedding Planners Whitsundays, who provided a stress free package and best of all it included the wedding coordinator extraordinaire Roxanne. She made the whole process easy and hassle free. We were given options to choose from every step along the way, which made us feel involved yet without any of the heavy lifting.

Make sure the day is yours and keep it stress free. To stress yourself on the lead up or on the day is just not worth it. We enjoyed every second and made sure the day was just about us.

For our Honeymoon we stayed in an oceanfront apartment at Pinnacles Resort overlooking all of Airlie Beach providing amazing water views over the day and star gazing from the jacuzzi at night. Let’s just say five days weren’t long enough.

Tanya and Brendan – Montes Reef Resort and The Palm House

Parasols, lace, chandaliers and a VW Kombi were just some of the elements that went into this shabby chic beach wedding in the Whitsundays. A seaside ceremony on the sand, followed by a formal reception at The Palm House.

Kay and Steve – Whitsunday Elopement

Kay was the perfect epitome of a beach side wedding babe. A knee length tulle skirt and matching light lace cropped top combined with jewel footwear ensured that she was not only comfortable in the tropical climate but created the perfect silhouette for her photos on Whitehaven Beach.

Kate and Tor – Long Island Resort

We had a very small wedding and our close family and friends travelled from Western Australia over to the beautiful Long Island, so it was important for us to be able to spend precious time with everyone before our ceremony and know that everything was taken care of. Diana’s knowledge of weddings meant that she was able to translate our vision.
