Mercedes has lived in the Whitsundays for the last 12 years working in the tourism industry in both sales, marketing and the marine industry. Currently employed as the Domestic Tourism Manager for the Regional Tourism Organisation; Whitsundays Marketing & Development (WM&D). Mercedes works closely with industry and Tourism Queensland, marketing the Whitsundays to consumers and trade both regionally as well as interstate, through a number of marketing channels.
